One NZ users across large parts of New Zealand are reporting outages on both Mobile and Broadband, with the telecommunications companies’ outage map showing the same.
Widespread outages across the South Island and the lower parts of the North Island are shown on the outage map on One NZ’s website. One NZ is aware of the outages and explains the following next to several of them. “We’re aware of an issue affecting some of our cell sites and internet across the Lower North Island and the South Island. This may result in intermittent or no service for some customers in these regions.”
There is no ETA on a fix for these outages at the time of writing; however, it appears many of the outage reports have a start time of 3:00 am Friday, May 3rd.
